FIRE & SMOKE
Over 27 of the Pottery Club came along on Sunday 20th June 2010 to experience the smoke and magic of Raku firing.
Julie Montgomery and Tim Betts brought along their oil drum kiln to fire everyone's pots that they had made for the occasion.
The sun shone and the smoke billowed as people excitedly scrubbed the black from their fired pots to reveal the amazingly different colours created.
SMOKE & FIRE 2 The 8th and 15th May 2011 saw Steve testing out his new Raku firing dustbin with members of the pottery club.
Although the sun didn't shine there was plenty of smoke as the white hot pots hit the sawdust.
This event has proved so popular that it has now become an annual event.
